23 Oct 2000: Amiga is definitely back for the future!
My show report (and other thoughts) on the ACE 2000
expo in Melbourne and Bill's historical announcements.
30 Jan 2000: An article on the new Amiga owners that I
wrote for Amiga Survivor magazine. As far as I can tell it
was never published - because Amiga Survivor didn't (survive,
that is).
10 Jan 2000: What light through yonder window shines? Is
it the Amiga,or just another flash in the pan?
11 Oct 1999 : So you wanna kill the Amiga? And who gives
a damn about all the people you hurt along the way ... ?
4 Sep 1999 : On sackings, disclosures, resignations and
the whole damn thing ... a few of my personal observations
and comments.
27 Aug 1999 : Report on the Amiga Down Under 99 Show
held in Canberra.

Another sad day.
(Jan 1 2000): Amiga Web Directory, the leading source of news
and information in the Amiga Community, has called
it quits.
Sold again!
(Dec 31 1999):
Gateway sells Amiga to former Amiga
identities Fleecy Moss, Bill McEwan
and Petro Tschychenko. Now what? Further news
here, and more details somewhere over
here.
Petro's address to the Saku99 Amiga Show
(Transcribed Sep 7 1999): He had to cancel his appearance at the show to attend an emergency
meeting in the USA, but two hours before his plane left he phoned in this greeting to the
show audience.
Microsoft Windows Security loopholes (Sep 5 1999) :
We all know that Windows is a bloated, bug-ridden,
inefficient operating system. But this article from
the Melbourne Sunday Age highlights several huge
security backdoor issues with Windows that
allow anyone access to any Windows PC via the
Internet - especially the NSA, the most insidious
USA government security agency. This is not one of
those conspiracy hoaxes - this is real!!! Yet
another huge nail in the Microsoft credibility
coffin. Thanks God for Amiga!
Jim Collas resigns
(Sep 1 1999) : After less than nine months as
president of Amiga, Jim Collas resigns. Read the
story and the reaction - including comments from
Dave Haynie.
Amiga President jumps ship
(Sep 1 1999) :
An alternate report.
Bill McEwen confirms he was let go by Amiga
(Sep 1 1999) :
The start of the blood-letting? Bill McEwan -
Amiga advocate, Amiga community supporter, and
convenor of the Amiga Advisory Council - confirms
that on Aug 30 he was told that Aug 31 would be
his last day at Amiga.
