Title: The Boss’s House. Medium: Oil on canvass. Size: 58cm x 48cm (including frame) Description: Adies were the largest sugarcane farm in Queensland back in the early 1900s. Many Kanakas worked clearing the land and planting cane. The Adies farm and house still remain outside of Childers |

Title: Kanaka Swimming Hole Childers. Medium: Watercolour. Size: 71cm x 52cm (including frame) Description: The waterhole was used by the Kanakas in the 1800s and by their descendants for years after. Len Cole was one of these young descendants who swam in the Bolton’s waterhole. |
