The number of people with mobile phone access to the internet is phenomenal. The number is growing by the millions in leaps and bounds. However a site like simplybible.com is just too complex for even modern mobile phones to handle well. That's why the .mobi ("dot mobi") system has been developed, and that's why simplybible.com has just given birth to a dot mobi site.
At present www.aptja.mobi is a subsite of simplybible.com but it may well get its own space as it grows. It is hoped that in 2009 onwards the site will grow to many more pages.
Websites using .mobi domain names have to conform quite strictly to rules that have been formulated to ensure that mobile phone users will get the best results. Every page on www.aptja.mobi is validated to the highest score
So simplybible.com has given birth to a baby. But babies have a habit of growing bigger than their parents and maybe in 2009 forward,
I chose the name aptja because it's so easy to type on a mobile phone keypad. But also because it's an acronym for All Praise To Jesus Amen.
