Introducing Blue Heat

Since Blue Heat made their debut performance at the Ballarat Blues Fest, they have continued to offer a high energy swing Blues performance. With the inclusion of their original song I Want Your Love on Real Aussie Blues CD Vol. 1, and the well received '91, '92 and '93 performances at the Melbourne Blues Fest, the band has clearly established a rapport with even the most diehard Blues appreciators.

Blue Heat have also earned the respect of many seasoned Blues musos. The likes of Bondi Cigars, Hippos, Dutch Tilders, Mojos, Southern Lightning, Rocket 88's, Dave Hole international artists Bobby Radcliff and Denny Freeman, have all acknowledged Blue Heat's tidy, spirited, support performances.

Drawing from a multitude of influences, from Jazz, Swing, Funk and even more punchy guitarists as Stevie Ray Vaughan and Ronnie Earl, Blue Heat have a credible sound and style development which is uniquely theirs.

Marco Goldsmith's Blue Heat, a seven piece band with a jazz, swing, soul, funk, blues kinda' sound are following the success of their first album 'Marooned,' with album number two , 'Irresistible Behaviour.' Hot off the press, it consists of ALL original material, and features the exciting solos of Marco on guitar, Bradley on sax , Richard on keyboards, the relenting rhythms of Barry on drums and Graeme on bass, and the rock solid blast of the HURRICANE HORNS - Matt. & Paul.
