Mohair is my favourite fibre and I have been breeding Australian Angora goats since 1977.  At present I have a flock of 60 which varies a little from year to year.  I breed the rarest strain of Australian Angora goat as you will read about in the History and White Angora sections.

As of August 2002 both the White and Coloured Angoras are listed with Rare Breeds Trust of Australia as being critically endangered and are now known as Australian Heritage Angora goats.

Spinning, knitting and weaving are my main pastimes.

I breed Angora Goats both White and Coloured, Donkeys, Sheep and Geese.

I shear my Angoras twice a year and at present I am concentrating on hand-spinning the mohair in a glorious range of multi colours.  Some of my mohair is commercially spun and blended with wool, this is a smooth lustrous yarn which I hand-dye also. Then with the aid of a computer I design for either a knitted garment or a woven length of cloth, which I then make up into garments or accessories.
